Freemasons from Ashlar Lodge in Lincoln have given £500 to the city’s Nomad Trust.
The money came from the Lodge’s last ladies night, a social event well attended by Lodge members, wives, partners and other family members.
The Charity had been chosen by Sue Clench, wife of Alex, the lodge Master at the time, to receive the money.
Nomad provides 22 comfortable en suite bedrooms for people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. It also has a professional kitchen which provides three meals a day, every day of the year.
The Nomad Day Centre brings together a range of professionals to provide essential support to people experiencing homelessness, including mental health and physical wellbeing services.
