Provincial Trainers for Project Hermes have been undergoing their own training, throughout February. That process is now complete and the next phase is for the trainers to pass on their knowledge to Lodge Secretaries and Chapter Scribes E. throughout the Province.
Throughout March there will be numerous online training sessions being held to ensure that every Secretary and Scribe is up to speed, ready for the live date in April.
Our Secretaries and Scribes have been able to watch the training webinars at their leisure, and many have taken the opportunity to get ahead with learning how to get the best out of this new system.
During March they will have access to real version of Hermes called a “Sandbox.” Here they can put into practice the processes they will use in future. The benefit of the sandbox is that whilst it uses real data, none of the changes that are made will be saved. Practice makes perfect!
Meanwhile, behind the scenes, work continues to ensure that the support systems are in place to ensure the transition goes smoothly.
