Charities in Lincoln have been given a share in grants totalling over £10,000 at a presentation event held at the Nightingale Rooms, Lincoln’s Masonic Hall.
The grants came from the latest tranche of awards from the New Provincial Benevolent Fund following nominations from the Lincoln Lodges. The Charities receiving the grants were:
- Baby’s Basket
- Blood Bikes
- Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association
- Lincoln Beevor Brass Band
- FISH
- Lincoln Street Pastors
- 3rd Lincoln Girl Guides
- Alzheimer’s Association
- St Barnabas Hospice
- Let Them Eat Cake
- Lincoln Drill Hall
- Lincoln Greyhound Trust
Each of the Charities gave a short talk on their charitable activities before receiving a cheque from a representative of the nominating Lodges.
The event was organised by W Bro Graham Cadel and opened by Provincial Charity Steward W Bro Peter Tong.
