The first Louth coffee morning funded by the Lincolnshire Old Benevolent fund is part of a growing trend of regular events in the Province, bringing together Freemasons, wives, widows, partners, and friends.
The centre has decided to hold the events on every fourth Tuesday of the month, running from 10 am until 2:30 pm. The first one was run by volunteers Ian, David, Dean, and Nina, with pork pies and sausage roles voted ‘superb’ supplied by Hermes Lodge member Ian Learmonth.
David Martin of Lindsey Lodge dedicated his time in organising the coffee morning and making it the success that it was today, enhanced by a tour of the centre he offered to visitors.
Colin Brader said: “it’s wonderful that the centre is able to host events such as this. The centre is hoping to offer family Sunday lunches in the near future which will help to raise centre funds.”
