Saint Mary Lodge veterans share 50-year certificate presentation

Roger Lambourne, the longest surviving WM of Saint Mary Lodge, has been presented with his 50-year certificate by Richard Drake, the Lodge’s second longest serving Master, and still a very active member.

Richard and his wife Ann, long time friends of Roger, travelled to Dersingham with Lodge Secretary Steve Cole and his wife Sharon to present the certificate as Roger is no longer able to travel to lodge meetings.

All four visitors were made very welcome with Roger having laid out coffee and chocolate biscuits for his guests.

Roger enjoyed reminiscing with Richard and Ann about old times and old friends and really appreciated that the four had taken the time and trouble to visit him.

He was especially pleased to be remembered by the Province in the form of his 50 year certificate.
