Freemasons give £500 to help Grantham church create ‘warm space’ for winter

Andy’s Man Club and the charity CARE have shared on £450 donated by the Freemasons of Grimsby-based Wellow Abbey Lodge.
£250 was given to Andy’s Man Club to support its work in eliminating the stigma surrounding mental health within a judgement-free, confidential space where men can be open about the storms in their lives. It aims to achieve this through weekly, free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups for men aged over 18.
Volunteers of the charity CARE, who were given £200, are dedicated to relieving poverty, homelessness and hardship to families and individuals throughout North East Lincolnshire.
Both presentations were made by Lodge member Stuart Hart.
