Freemasons help Oliver with £1,400 donation to help with cost of prosthetics

Brayford Corks Freemasons have given another £1,000 to help  nine-year-old Oliver Aisthorpe with his ongoing medical issues.

And the money was topped up with a further £400 from retired Royal Protection Officer Ian Huggett, raised from a talk he gave to members of Pelham Pillar Lodge.

Ian said: “Oliver contracted Sepsis from a throat infection when he was just six months old, and that led to amputation of all four limbs.

”He’s a wonderful little chap so full of joy and optimism that puts us all to shame. He’ll need constant updates to his prosthetics as he grows. The one on his arm cost £20,000.”
