Four days into the JOGLE charity ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End Boston Freemason Rob Wright says the team is 230 miles into the trip with 10,800 ft of climbing involved.
He said: “The weather has ranged from fine to 50mph gusting winds on day one from John O‘Groats to Bettyhill.
“Day 2 was from Bettyhill to Evanton, and brought heavy rain and winds all day.
“Day 3 from Evanton to Fort Augustus actually gave us blue skies and sunshine for a change.
“Day 4 from Fort Augustus to Ballachulish started fine but predictably ended with rain.
“Everyone’s in good spirits and looking forward to heading to Loch Lomond tomorrow and beyond.
“The team’s charity total has now risen to just above £7,000 plus £1,485 in Gift Aid. I would like to pass on my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has donated so far as we try to push the total onwards and upwards in memory of Charlotte and for the Brake charity which is so supportive of people who lose loved ones in road accidents.”
