Lincolnshire’s current Sword Bearer on the active craft team went with PGM Dave Wheeler to the Freemasons’ National Service of Remembrance.
Chris writes: “What an honour to escort The Provincial Grand Master of Lincolnshire Freemasons to the National Memorial Arboretum for the Freemasons National Service of Remembrance.
“I’ve been attending Remembrance Services for over 35 years now, they are always very moving but this one was very special. A time to reflect, to give thanks and to be grateful for the sacrifices of so many. It was also lovely meeting up with so many brothers from all over the UK that supported me on my coastal walk for the Masonic Charitable Foundation.
“Back to Lincolnshire in time for our annual Sqn Renunion, 26 years since 77 Engineer Regiment was disbanded, a great night of laughter, reminiscing with my 219 Sqn RE mates and remembering all those guys that are no longer with us. I think I fell through the door at 2am !!! What a day… We will Remember Them.”
