Leeds’ St James Hospital liver transplant unit is more than £500 richer today thanks to Freemasons from Vermuyden Lodge in Crowle who raised the money at their Christmas Sunday lunch and carol concert at the lodge building .
The money was raised in a raffle, and given to the liver transplant unit in recognition of the life-saving transplant operation staff there had performed on Andy Urry, currently the Lodge’s Master.
The cash was received by Andy, left, from the Lodge Director of Ceremonies Stuart Mills.
