A thorough cleaning regime by specially-trained members paved the way for Lincolnshire’s first post-lockdown meeting – at Paulinus Lodge 3957 in Lincoln.
A quorum of members attended, said Lodge Mentor Nick Brown (on the right in our picture). “We even welcomed a visitor; one of the directors of the Nightingale Rooms, Lincoln’s Masonic Centre. He came to ensure that all of the necessary procedures were correctly followed.
“Plenty of socially-distanced good cheer was evident in our short, but sweet, meeting. As well as welcoming our visitor we were able to propose a candidate for initiation, who would also be a Lewis, and is keen to experience the camaraderie that binds us together.”
The members also used hand sanitiser made available by the Province. Free supplies have been distributed to each of the Province’s 21 centres, delivered by motorcyclists who would have been members of the Free Wheelers Lodge 9991, had lockdown not forced postponement of its consecration in May this year.
