Freemason Karl delivers winter warmers to Forge Project

Homeless people in Scunthorpe have been given winter warmers in the form of clothing, shoes, sleeping bags, toiletries and jackets by Freemasons of St Lawrence Lodge.

Lodge member Karl Lycett gathered the donations from fellow members and went to The Forge Project to hand them all over.

He said: “They were well received as this time of year is particularly hard for the homeless.“

The Forge Project’s Serena Mumby said: “Your kindness will bring real comfort and support to our homeless community throughout the winter.

”It is through the ongoing generosity of people like you that we can continue to stand alongside those who need us most.”
