Freemasonry has shown off the fun of its social side with a Kwik Cricket competition hosted by Cleethorpes Cricket Club.
In a spirit of inclusivity, the competitors included the newly-formed Ladies Section of Cleethorpes Cricket Club, who played against North East Lincolnshire teams from Smyth, Lord Heneage, St James, and Astral Lodges, as well as Lincoln-based Minster Lodge.
The competition’s ‘giant’ trophy was won by Lord Heneage, but in terms of having a good time, everyone was a winner, as these excellent pictures from John Armstrong clearly show. Competition organiser Mick Boulton hopes to run the event again next year.
He said: “I’d like to thank Team Astral members Ryan Ginifer, Stuart Shakespeare, Ralph Thacker, Richard Precious, Toby Precious, and Wayne Bloy for their efforts on the field and for the help they gave me in running the event.”
