Almost twenty Lincolnshire Freemasons plan to experience arguably the biggest possible adrenaline rush by jumping out of an aeroplane – all to raise funds for the #Lincs2025 Festival in support of the Freemasons’ charity the MCF.
They’ll be following the late Bob Smith, who leapt into the record books as the oldest Freemason ever to just from almost three miles high.
The latest group, currently consisting of 19 Brethren and some partners from Lodges across the Province, has been brought together by Tony O’Brien of Lindsey Lodge, and they will be performing the charity tandem skydive at Hibaldstow Airfield on Saturday 15th May.
After 20 minutes instruction the brave fundraisers will be jumping from 15,000 feet (the highest UK jump) for the rush of freefall and a five-minute canopy ride. There are still spaces for anyone wishing to join in – just contact Tony at firstname.lastname@example.org
Alternatively, if the thrill doesn’t appeal but you’re impressed enough to support them, the group is seeking donations in aid of the Festival. Tony as organiser can be sponsored via this link https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/obrienfamilyskydive2021, or go to the Group Facebook page below to get a full list of participants: https://www.facebook.com/groups/492549974673498/?ref=share
The very best of luck to all of them!
