Freemasons from the Lodge of Old Clee have given £500 to support Women’s Aid in Grimsby – and you can help the organisation too.
Lodge Charity Steward Mat Campbell handed over the funds to the organisation’s CEO Denise Farman and Haington Square shop manager Angie at the shop.
Mat said: “The money was very much appreciated and gratefully received – but Freemasons aren’t the only ones helping Women’s Aid. Anyone can do it by visiting the shop and buying something there, or by donating stock, such as clothes, toys, furniture, and bric-a-brac items.”
The money came from Lincolnshire Freemasons New Provincial Benevolent Fund, which every year gives each of Lincolnshire’s 76 Lodges £500 to give to the good cause of their choice.
