Freemasons from Grimsby’s St Albans Lodge have shared £2,500 amongst five good causes working in North East Lincolnshire. The money has come from the Lodge Benevolent Fund.
The five donations of £500 each were made to:
Rock Foundation – Supporting people with learning disabilities and disadvantages
Grimsby Food kitchen – Provides meals and support for the homeless and most vulnerable in the community in NE Lincolnshire
Sunflowers Children’s Action Group – Creates special inclusive events and activities for children who suffer from life limiting and / or life threatening conditions
Harbour Place Grimsby – Supports rough sleepers and homeless in NE Lincolnshire by providing safe and warm accommodation
Shalom Youth Project – Provides children and young people at risk in the East Marsh, Grimsby’s most deprived ward, with leisure time and activities and through long term relationships enable them to grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society
