Starting this week Charity Stewards will have tickets for sale for the entertainment extravaganza in the dramatic setting of Lincoln Castle that kicks off a summer of outdoor entertainment being staged as part of the first full year of events in support of our #Lincs2025 Festival.
Organisers on the Events Committee promise an evening of family fun and entertainment from Lincolnshire bands, including the sounds of Glen Miller with the Miller Magic Big Band, Last Night of the Proms with the Sleaford Concert Band, and the Blighty Belles, who’ll be slipping forward a few decades with their Abba Tribute Act.
The whole thing will be kept together by Steve Barclay, who’s made a career in comedy, woring with some of the greats, and who’s a member of a Lincoln Lodge.
Events Committee Chairman Gideon Hall said: “Bring a picnic and some chairs and set up a pitch to enjoy the show – but we’ve organised Lincolnshire food and drink to buy as well. We anticipate the atmosphere will be fantastic. As well as getting tickets from your Lodge Charity Steward, they can be bought online from the link below – though there’s a small booking fee for the latter; unavoidable, I’m afraid.”
