Freemasons in India are rolling out a new social media campaign to raise awareness about Freemasonry and raise funds for charity – and they’re asking UK members to get involved too.
Members of the District Grand Lodge of Bombay will be posting videos of themselves tying elaborate tie knots while sharing how Freemasonry has positively impacted their lives. They will also pledge money for charity to highlight the charitable actions of Freemasons.
They’ve invited Freemasons in the UK to join in between 15-30th October, when members are encouraged to upload videos or photos on their social media, explaining why they joined Freemasonry or what they enjoy most about it. The tie and fundraising are optional, but anyone taking part is encouraged to use the #Freemasons and #ImAMason hashtags
