A quick butty stop at Lincolnshire Freemasons’ Provincial Office in Grimsby and Guy Smith is off again on his run from Newcastle to London!
With almost 200 miles under his trainers he’s almost half way through his #templerun2026. Lincolnshire Freemasons from the Free Wheelers Motorcycle Lodge are following, sharing and supporting the brother from Northumberland Freemasons over the weekend so please watch out for him as he heads from Grimsby – where he was given lunch by Provincial Secretary Tony Miller – to Market Rasen, then Lincoln and on to Newark. Give him a cheers as he passes.
Free Wheelers met him in the middle of the night on the Humber Bridge. Chris Jones was there. He said: “Chris Fletcher, Ian Batchelor and I met at 1am this morning under the Humber Bridge to jump out and surprise him. As it turns out, the footpaths over the bridge are locked at night so he surprised us by pulling up in his support vehicle behind us just before 2am!
“Well done Guy, you are doing an amazing job, I know you’re hurting but we all commented that you were looking incredibly strong, considering you’d just run nearly 200 miles on very little sleep.”
