Skegness Freemasons do their best to support Scouts

Freemasons from Lumley Lodge in Skegness have given the town’s newly-formed Explorer Scouts £500 to help them buy camping equipment.

The Explorers are a branch of the Scout movement set up specifically for 14-18-year-olds, Their activities include hiking, camping, sailing and leadership challenges. This group is newly formed so the money will be used for the purchase of camping equipment.

The photograph shows the cheque being presented to some of the Explorers by the Lumley Lodge secretary Scott Colbourne.
