Small donations mean Freemasons make a big difference in Skegness

Throughout history it’s been recognised that ‘small’ doesn’t have to mean ‘insignificant’ – which has been proved by Freemasons in Skegness.

Members of Candleshoe Rose Croix Chapter have given donations of £120 to each of five good causes.

Receiving the money were the 17 Squadron RAFAC Coningsby, Skegness Lifeboats, the Skegness branch of the Royal British Legion, Friends of Skegness Hospital, Skegness Day Centre Memory Café.

handing over the funds Nev Stockdale said: “It is  a pleasure to be able to help so many  good causes even if only in a small way.”

The recipients agreed that the donations would certainly have an impact on their work in supporting the community.
