South Wales’ Deputy PGM Huw Mosford has met round-Britain Walker Chris Jones on the coast (where else) at Rhosilli.
He said: “Chris is truly a remarkable person with a great story, and I’m sure great experiences to share on his round Britain Coastal Walk. He was a joy to be with.”
Chris left Skegness on New Year’s Day 2023 to walk the entire coastline of Britain to raise £100,000 for the Freemasons’ charity the MCF, whose counselling service brought him from the brink of suicide. It’s a trek of about 7,000 miles, which he’s 3,000-plus miles into, clocking as many as 20 miles a day.
