For almost 160 years Brigg Freemasons have been supporting the community – and the work still goes on.
Chris Fletcher, of Ancholme Lodge, writes: “In recent times our support has included an annual donation to Brigg Angels for their Christmas meals and teas, a grant to the Bosom Family Support charity to allow them to continue their excellent counselling service for those affected by cancer, financial support for Andy’s Mens Club to help prevent suicide, and provision of football kit to children’s teams in the area.
“With the backing of the wider masonic community of Lincolnshire, our investment in civic duty continued with the donation to provide trees for the newly-refurbished war memorial.
“Members of the Lodges which meet in our building on Cary Lane are pleased to continue supporting the people of Brigg and the surrounding area.”
