Freemasons throughout Lincolnshire are being asked if their businesses can supply PPE for use by staff on the front line of the fight against Coronavirus.
The request is being made by Ray Newell, a member of Lindum Lodge 5777 in Lincoln, who’s the MD of Oakwell Management Services. Backing a campaign which started in Derbyshire, he says: “I’m looking for donations from across Lincolnshire of any PPE products you can spare at this time. I can collect, or you can drop off at a central hub, and we’ll guarantee delivery to the NHS where it’s needed. It’s not just rubber gloves and masks, it’s everything you can spare as protective wear, that you’re not using because you’re furloughed.”
Ray can take only items in unbroken packaging please.
He has set up a central secure storage hub at Castlet Ltd at Crofton Drive in Lincoln, and urges businesses to fill in the donation record (below).
Arrange collection and safe delivery by calling Ray on 07883 222607 or emailing him at raynewell@hotmail.com
Ray adds: “Finally, can you please pass this request on to any Lincolnshire companies in your networks that you think might be able to support this request with donations. I sincerely hope you can help. You will be saving lives. Massive thanks in anticipation.”
