Freemason Mick goes into print to support St Barnabas Hospice

Lincoln Freemason Mick Lake has gone into print with a book called Lincoln True Tales from History, and will give all the proceeds to St Barnabas Hospice and, with 300 copies sold already, the book is proving to be very popular!

With more than 300 copies sold already, Mick has raised £900, but would love to get into four figures.

Says Mick, Charity Steward at Lindum Lodge: “The book is based upon the experiences of people who lived in Lincoln and its surrounding villages over 100 years ago.  It contains over seventy short stories which offer a fascinating insight into the hardships which our ancestors endured, the dangers they faced in their working lives, and the difficult decisions they made when faced with adversity.
