Oliver Aisthorpe has been given £500 towards travel cost for his journey to a better quality of life thanks to new prosthetic limbs.
Oliver had sepsis at the age of just six months, which led to partial amputation of all four limbs.
The money was given by Freemasons of Grimsby-based St James Lodge just before Oliver went to Bristol to have his first artificial arm fitted.
Lodge members met him before their most recent meeting. Secretary Ian Huggett said: “He was so excited. What a character Oliver is and meeting him was a truly humbling experience.”
The money was given to the Oliver Aisthorpe Trust, which was set up in 2020 by his aunt Lucy.
Ian added: “The opportunity to help others is a privilege we should treasure.“
