Humberside Masonic Supplies closes for good

Hull-based Humberside Masonic Supplies has shut up shop for the final time. The business was run for many years by Malcolm Coates from home in Hedon near Hull.

Malcolm died aged 78 in January 2021 after a long  illness. He had been a member of Smyth Lodge in Grimsby and Humber Lodge in Hull.

He started Humberside Masonic Supplies more than 40 years ago, and until now it continued to operate from the same premises under the care of fellow director Stewart Oxborough of Lord Worsley Lodge and Humber Lodge. Some of the stock has been transferred to Lincolnshire Brethren Mark Driffill and Ivor Hallam, who together with their wives operate not-for-profit organisation Pre-Loved Regalia.
