Freemasons in Cleethorpes intend to throw open their doors on Sunday September 7th to let members of the public learn more about Freemasonry.
The event happens at the Freemasons’ Cleethorpes home, just over the road from the town’s leisure centre, where a visit will allow anyone who’d like to see behind the doors have a look around the building and learn what goes on inside.
Says organiser Pete Gibbons: “Everyone’s welcome to come and say hello, ask us questions about what we do and why we do it. They can have a look at our meeting room, learn about the history of Freemasonry in the town, and perhaps explore the possibility of becoming a member.”
There’s no charge to attend the event, which runs between 11am and 3pm, and the Freemasons will also provide tea and coffee for visitors. More details below.
