Newborns and their families using the Special Care Baby Unit at the Diana Princess of Wales hospital in Grimsby will benefit from a donation of £500 from the town’s Freemasons.
The money, from the Earl of Yarborough Lodge, will be used to provide support equipment for the unit.
Staff Nurses Keilly Dyke and Lois Grayson, accompanied staff colleagues accepted a cheque from Matt Fletcher from the Lodge.
The money has come from the Anderson Bates Benevolent Fund that provides two of the town’s Lodges with £500 to pass on to good causes. As well as the Earl of Yarborough Lodge, Smythe Lodge was also a recipient this year.
