Royal Ark Mariners enjoyed a packed evening in Skegness at the installation meeting of the Earl of Scarborough Lodge 1032. After the meeting, at which Rt.W.Bro. Gordon Walkerley-Smith had been the personal representative of the new Mark PGM Rt.W.Bro Stephen Hallberg, brethren enjoyed a ‘white table’ festive board.
It was open to all RAM brethren, Mark Master Masons and their partners, with a view to giving them all a greater understanding of the Order with the hope that some would make further enquiries and ultimately make an approach to join.
At the Festive Board for more than 70 diners, a raffle was organised to raise funds for the local RNLI, which was very well supported. The newly-installed Worshipful Commander W.Bro Norman Rollitt presented the £275 proceeds to W.Bro Alan Fisher, who is Skegness Lifeboat Operations Manager.
