Widow’s Sons masonic motorcyclists from the East Midlands chapter organised an Easter egg run and day visit to the Devonshire Court RMBI home at Oadby in Leicester.
Chapters represented were from Yorkshire and the new Lincolnshire Imps.
Steve Shucksmith, secretary of St Denys Lodge in Sleaford, said: “We all met at Sainsbury’s in Oadby and started the day off with a fine breakfast before riding in convoy to Devonshire Court. We were there at 10am, and after being greeted by the staff we were invited to the lounge, where tea and biscuit were laid on, and residents arrived to welcome us. We spent the morning sharing quizzes and enjoying lots of general chit chat.
“We were assured that the Easter eggs we left for the members would be greeted with enthusiasm, and we would like to thank everyone at Devonshire Court for the warmth of the welcome extended to us and the hospitality they provided, and we look forward to being able to visit again.”
