Plans to set up a new rugby lodge involving Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and Lincolnshire will be discussed at a Zoom meeting taking place on Wednesday 22nd July.
The idea has been born in Derbyshire, but the proposed name is the Nomads Rugby Lodge, reflecting the idea of taking the Lodge around the Provinces, particularly Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire which, with Derbyshire, form the Three Counties – the County Side of Notts, Lincs and Derbys.
Lodge membership is aimed at anyone interested in rugby, no matter if they’re players, ex-players, avid attendees, armchair fans, or simply ‘alikadoos’.
The Zoom meting is being arranged by Derbyshire’s Chris Sellars, who said: “The meeting is to ascertain interest and task out the work needed to bring the proposed Lodge to consecration. It will be a Derbyshire Lodge, but specifically open to members from other Provinces and initiates. If you would like any more information about the formation of this new Lodge, please contact me by email at chrissellars1966@gmail so I can pass on the meeting ID and password. If you’d like to be involved but can’t make the meeting, email me anyway, and I’ll keep you informed.”
