Through the summer the Provincial Comms team has been reshaped with new faces in new roles. Taking over as Assistant Provincial Comms Officer is Simon Noden, right, of Lumley Lodge and Lumley Chapter in Skegness, who has been our social media champion for some years. He has helped to drive up our Facebook profile to a level that’s the envy of many Provinces.
After many years of looking after Lincolnshire Freemasons’ presence on the internet Chris Bradley has stepped down from the role of Provincial Webmaster, and his place has been taken by Nick Burton.
Although they are at opposite ends of the Province – Chris at Boston and Nick at Scunthorpe – that makes no difference where the internet is concerned, because it can be managed from everywhere.
Nick owns and runs Kyanite Consulting, which builds and monitors web sites for organisations as diverse at schools, funeral directors, industrial packaging, and electrical contractors not only in North Lincolnshire but also elsewhere in the UK and Ireland.
He’s a member of St Lawrence Lodge and the Chapter of St John – and naturally a member of the Provincial Communications Team.
The team also has a network of enthusiastic and committed roving reporters around the Province who feed in news items about their Lodges and Chapters to highlight the good work we do. Contributions for our communications channels are always welcome. Send them in the first instance, to Provincial Comms Officer Stuart Pearcey via email to stuart@wordsman.co.uk
