An Industry Lodge Past Master’s jewel has been passed to the third member of the same Scunthorpe family.
Phil Aitken presented the PM jewel given to him in 1999 and first worn by his father in 1979, to son-in-law Chris Tandy when he installed his successor Robert Smithson. “It was a moment of deep sentiment,” said Chris.
The ceremony was attended by Assistant Provincial Grand Master Jez Hyland. Chris added: “His presence added to the occasion’s significance.”
