Graham starts his Freemasonry journey on a special night at Skegness

Lincolnshire Rough Ashlars visited Lumley Lodge at the Skegness Masonic Centre to welcome new initiate Graham Meredith watched by PGM Dave Wheeler and his team.

Dave had brought the team to Lumley for an extra visit to honour the Lodge being one of the top fundraisers in our 2025 Festival, amassing a total of £41,725.32 which was commemorated with a certificate presented to Master Simon Hay. As well as members of his team Dave brought enough port to share a toast with the members.

During the visitors’ response Stephen Henman invited Richard Dennis, an Entered Apprentice from Lumley Lodge, to present Graham with his Rough Ashlars tie — a great moment of support and encouragement for a new Brother beginning his Masonic journey. Graham is pictured above receiving his Rough Ashlars welcome letter.

Lumley Lodge members meet weekly for their LOI, providing a strong environment for new members to learn, grow, and develop together.
