Rob Pursey from Industry Lodge in Scunthorpe writes: “Well that was a day! At 8:15 a.m. (I know!!!) I met Ian Batchelor near Junction 4 on the M180 to pop over to the Horncastle centre for just after 9a.m. for their coffee morning, meeting Chris Jones for a cup of tea and a bit of cake.
The three of us then went over to Wragby, where we met Steve Milnes to make four Freewheelers (including two volunteer Blood Bikers) for a charity ride to Mablethorpe, via half of The Wolds. After a cup of tea and an ice cream we nipped across to Spilsby to see the boys on the Provincial stand, which is in the Market Place every Saturday through the summer.
Finally we went over to the Louth centre for their BBQ, and completed our day with a lovely run back home – only to find out I’d left my fold-up seat at Louth! Oh well, it gave me excuse to go back and pick it up on the Sunday!
