A group of Lincolnshire Freemasons headed to London’s Duke Street to be part of the installation ceremony for one of their Provincial colleagues.
Dave Gibson, a past master of St Lawrence Lodge in Scunthorpe, has been installed as Master of the Pathfinder Lodge, part of Metropolitan Grand Lodge. He was accompanied by Lincolnshire members from his own Lodge, including Master Tom Murray, as well as Brigg and Lincoln. James Burden, probably Lincolnshire’s newest Freemason, who had been initiated into St Lawrence Lodge only a couple of weeks earlier, was also there. As is customary for the Pathfinder Lodge, members enjoyed the festive board at the RAF Club in Piccadilly.
Dave served in the RAF, and was introduced to Freemasonry by the late Bob Wareing, who twice won the DFC for his wartime service as a Lancaster pilot with the Pathfinder Squadron.
