Changes at the top

PGM/MEGS Dave Wheeler says there are some changes in the Provincial executive that he is pleased to announce as follows:

APGM Jez Hyland wishes to stand down and he will be replaced by W. Bro Adrian Joyce.

Second Provincial Principal Steve Roberts will also be moving on, and Ex Companion John Elliott will be appointed in his place. This creates a vacancy for Third Principal and Ex Companion David Carter will take this position.

Dave says: “I am indebted to Jez for his contribution, particularly in respect of the 2025 Festival. As Festival Chairman he managed a small team superbly well and the end result is a great testament to his efforts. Jez will be missed, as will his contribution to the Provincial executive. Steve has also done a great job and his boundless enthusiasm and happy demeanour have been a real asset to the Province. They say that if you want a job doing then give it to a busy man, and this has certainly been the case with Steve.

“The new appointees are already having handover meetings with their predecessors and I am sure the process will go very smoothly, taking the Province forward, and continuing the positive and happy atmosphere that we all enjoy.”

The changes will take effect at the Provincial meeting on Wednesday 13^th May 2026.
