That’s a headline you don’t read every day, but it’s a reflection of the life of Ollie Arnold, who’s Junior Warden in not one but two Lodges – Skegness-based Lumley and Floreat, which meets at Great Queen Street in London.
Ollie was born in January 2004, and followed his dad Richard into Lumley Lodge in September 2022. He became Junior Warden in both Lodges earlier this year – which puts him on track to be the youngest-ever Master in both Lodges.
He is currently finishing a degree in business marketing and management at Cardiff Met University, where he plays rugby as a member of the University’s team in the top level of men’s university rugby. That’s BUCS Super Rugby, involving ten team, and run by British Universities and Colleges Sport, the body from which it takes its name. It’s seen as a potential pathway in elite rugby.
He captained the U-16 team representing Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire, was also captain of the Uppingham School First XV when he was there from 2020 to 2022, and played with the Leicester Tigers U18 academy.
