From classroom to Lodge makes it a night to remember

Skegness-based Lumley Lodge returned from its summer recess in style with a Third Degree ceremony for Richard Dennis at its first meeting of the new season – and that set the standard for the season ahead, writes Simon Noden.
The Brethren had not been idle while the doors were closed. Throughout the summer, they’d gathered at their Lodge of Instruction, rehearsing and refining until every word and movement was ready for this night. That commitment showed in a ceremony delivered with confidence and precision.
Richard was presented with an information envelope, right, packed with guidance on what comes next, because the end of the Third Degree is the start of a Mason’s real adventure.
