A former President of the Education Group in UGLE’s District Grand Lodge of the Eastern Archipelago is coming to Lincoln to deliver a presentation exploring the symbols of the Craft and Royal Arch.
He’s Darren Desker, a Freemason based in Singapore, where he was also District Group Mentor and held the Education Group Presidency from 2017 to 2021.
His presentation, on Friday February 16th, has been organised by Lincolnshire’s Provincial Learning & Development Officer Nick Brown, who said: “This promises to be a very educational evening with interesting discussion. Darren Desker is undoubtedly one of the world’s Masonic foremost scholars. His presentation is open to all Freemasons, and is a very rare opportunity to discuss, debate, speculate, and question.
“We have been able to book the Lincoln Masonic Centre for a 6:30pm start followed by a jacket potato supper, with a selection of toppings, at the cost of £10. Any profits will be donated to the Lincolnshire 2025 Festival.”
