Grand Master’s presence topped off two amazing days at Freemasons Hall

What an incredible couple of days in London at the Grand Lodge or the Investiture meetings, writes Chris Jones. It was made all the more special to see HRH The Duke of Kent, The Grand Master presiding, and wonderful to bump into so many lovely people that helped me on my walktheedgemcf walk around the coast of the UK. There was lots of laughter and reminiscing, and trying to remember names…

Congratulations to all those brethren and companions from Lincolnshire Freemasons and indeed from all over the world that received honours. It was a honour to share your day.

Some lovely meals, one or two pints in the company of some truly inspirational men, and a peaceful early morning walk through the streets of London to Leicester Square… I asked for no garlic sauce on my 3.30am kebab but I think she gave me a double portion! I’m still sweating it out… ”
