Freemasons of Lincoln-based Paulinus Lodge have given £500 to The Samaritans, over and above the £30,000 Freemasons gave to upgrade the organisation’s telephone equipment throughout Lincolnshire.
The money was handed over by Lodge Charity Steward Eric Isherwood and Rod Whiting. It came from the Lincolnshire Freemasons’ New Provincial Benevolent Fund, which gives each of Lincolnshire’s 76 Lodges £500 every year to pass on to the good cause of their choice.
