Brethren Receive Plaques to Mark 50 years in Freemasonry

Lincoln Lodges presented 10 Charities and Good Causes with grants from the New Provincial Benevolent Fund. On behalf of Witham Lodge W Bro’s Chris Smith and Vince Elkington presented cheques to Lincoln MS Therapy Centre represented by June Lander, Maria Marwaha and Maureen Pattern, and to St Barnabas Hospice represented by Caroline Swindin. St Hugh Lodges WM W Bro Malcolm Donaldson gave cheques to Lucilla Wood and Maggie Norris of Buddies Dementia Cafe and to Gordon Norris of the Life After Stroke Team (LAST). LAST also received a grant from Paulinus Lodge represented by W Bro Dave Robinson and Bro Colin Hornsey. The Lincoln Asthma Swimming Group represented by Irene Kirkham received a cheque from W Bro Martin Pettit of Minster Lodge. Minster’s W Bro Graham Cadel and Alison Flack also a presented a cheque to Patricia Cawdron who runs a Charity for the Homeless. Ermine Lodge WM W Bro David Dernley presented a cheque to Cubs Leader Connor Thompson of the 14th Lincoln Scout Group and also a grant to the Lincolnshire Centre for Grief and Loss represented by Julie Garner. The WM of Excalibur Lodge W Bro Pete Hill presented a cheque to Mike Martin, Stacey Gillott and Robert Glenton of Lincs Shine. The East Midlands Immediate Care Scheme represented by Dr. Tim Gray received a cheque from Excalibur Lodge WM W Bro Pallon Daruwala.
