Are you a Freemason and a forces veteran? If you are, then a new development in Lincolnshire could be for you. Levels of interest in forming a Veterans’ Lodge in the Province are being gauged, with the first step being to register your interest – without commitment – with W Bro Bob Chalklin, a member of Daedelus Lodge.
Bob said: “We will inform interested brethren on the progress being made and copy minutes of meetings, so they can spread the word or offer suggestions.
“The information we gather about individuals will be placed onto a database of interested brethren, and email addresses added to a mail group using ‘blind copy’ protocols, which means messages going only to the individual. Your contact details would not be shared amongst other potential members. The database will then be transferred to the Lodge Secretary for use until such time that the Lodge is formed and normal masonic business conducted. At that point it is intended that all copies of the database are destroyed, to protect personal details.”

- Family name
- Mr, Dr, or any other salutation
- Address
- Name and number of all Lodges of which you are or have been a member
- Masonic rank
- Any current office
- Telephone number
- Mobile telephone number
- Offices you would be willing to fill in a Veterans’ Lodge
- Would you be willing to serve on a small committee to help form a Veterans’ Lodge?
- If yes to the above, what experienced you have in working on a committee?
- Former service
- Date discharged
