Three runners from the Freemasons’ charity the MCF will be amongst the thousands tackling the Great North Run on September 11th – and they’ll be raising money for our #Lincs2025 Festival.
Head of Fundraising Paul Crockett and his colleagues Will Underwood and Joe Whitelock make up the team, with Paul having felt pushed into showing the commitment he spends his working life urging others to do. He said: “I have encouraged members to take part in these events, supported them in their endeavours, and watched them achieve great success.
“As the Head of Fundraising I felt it was time to demonstrate that we too are prepared to take on a challenge. And so, despite my aging knees, I have signed up to the Great North Run to raise funds for the Charity.
“We have set up a dedicated Relief Chest to receive donations and sponsorship, and any donations that come from the Province of Lincolnshire will be allocated to your Festival.”
