New Principals installed at St Lawrence Chapter

Six Supreme Grand Chapter officers were at Scunthorpe to see Phil Aitken installed as Z in St Lawrence Chapter, with John Foster becoming H.

One of those Grand Chapter officers was Dave Metcalf, who took the chair of J on a temporary basis in the absence of Rob Pursey.

Others in the picture are, from left, Phil Anyan, Steve Hallberg, Brian Roberts, Noel Fisher, who was representing the Grand Superintendent Dave Wheeler, David Bird, and Martin Huckle, Noel’s D.C.

Bill Smith, right, presented a Past Z jewel to Andy Urry after Andy installed Phil into the chair. Bill had worn the jewel twice after different years in the chair, but its original wearer had been Jim Cattell, who had been Z of the Chapter in 1962 – the year Andy was born.
