Oliver’s initiation makes a hat-trick of generations at Rudyard Kipling Lodge

Mike Carter took the chair at Rudyard Kipling Lodge in Horncastle to initiate his grandson Oliver Hirst.

Oliver’s dad Russell took part in the ceremony to deliver the Address to the Apron, and Ryan Dolby, as Senior Warden, presented Oliver with a Masonic case containing all the things Oliver, 20, will need as a Rough Ashlar.

Steve Henman, Secretary of the Rough Ashlars, delivered the Charge after Initiation in an exemplary manner.
