About 40 Freemasons, family members, and friends have added £400 to our 2025 Festival with a wine tasting event with a difference.
In a Call My Bluff-style event at the Lincoln Freemasons’ Centre a panel of three ‘experts’ made up of Dick Holmes, PGM Dave Wheeler, and Rod McCall-Whiting (above) each gave convincing accounts of the six different glasses of red, white, and sparkling wine being tasted by their audience. The challenge was to decide which of the trio was telling the truth.
Winner on the night, with a clean sweep of six correct guesses out of six, was Liz Wheeler, wife of the PGM! The event was organised by Andy Carr supported by Pete Bray.
