Lincolnshire’s Master Masons, newly-exalted Royal Arch Companions, and Royal Arch Representatives are being invited to an event promoting the benefits of joining the Royal Arch.
It’s the latest in a series of similar events, but this time comes with a twist, developing it from previous incarnations. “Just what the difference will be is being kept under wraps for now,” says Dave Wheeler, who heads both Craft and Royal Arch in our Province, “but I guarantee it will be a presentation no-one attending will have seen before, and I have no doubt it will spark a degree of interest.”
The event takes place at the Louth Masonic Centre on the evening of November 21st this year. It starts with a presentation in the Lodge room, and ends with a free sausage and mash supper.
Dave is the Royal Arch’s Most Excellent Grand Superintendent in and over Lincolnshire – it’s equivalent to the Craft’s Provincial Grand Master. He said: “At the sausage and mash supper and the meeting that precedes it there will be lots to take in, and lots of opportunity to ask questions, and I hope our Master Masons especially take the opportunity to come along and take part. I have no doubt they’ll get a lot from it.
“On previous occasions when we have run similar events the number of questions that came up far exceeded the time we had available, but we have a network of Royal Arch Representatives who are able to deliver all the answers.”
The event is being organised by Lincolnshire’s Royal Arch Rep Co-ordinator David Cartwright, who aded: “This event will be a significant development over what has gone before, and I look forward to Master Masons taking the opportunity to come along and be part of an entertaining and informative evening. We want everyone to be as comfortable as possible, so there’s no dress code, just come as you are.”
